Information technology support and partnership
The IT team at IUNI is comprised of a highly skilled group of application developers, system engineers, and other IT professionals. Their primary objective is to advance the field of network science by building tools and systems to support the research of IU faculty and students. The team works in collaboration with other departments on campus to create the best possible solutions for complex interdisciplinary problems.
The team specializes in developing web-based tools, data pipelines, and large-scale data storage and processing systems. They utilize a range of technologies including Python, Vue.js, SQL, Java, Hadoop, and Spark. They are also knowledgeable in more specialized products like JanusGraph and cloud services such as AWS, as well as IU's high-performance systems like Carbonate and JetStream.
