Jacob J. Shaw
Jacob Shaw is the Data Manager at IUNI. He helps with the design, development, and implementation of databases and datasets. This includes providing access, researching new methods and technologies, and data transformations. He also assists with backend programming and API development as needed.
Jacob received his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Indiana University, and he is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Data Science at Indiana University. His areas of interest are Data Engineering and automating data/ETL pipelines.
Before working at IUNI, he was a Software Engineer at H&R Block on the Marketing Technology team that supported Data Engineering for the Marketing Team. He has also worked in IT at his local Sheriff’s Office, providing technical support and implementing ETL pipelines.
