Connecting Health and Community

Principal Investigators: Gerardo Maupome (IUPUI School of Public Health), Brea Perry (IUB Sociology)

VidaSana is a longitudinal study of recent immigrant Hispanic adults who live in Indiana, and aims to help improve the health of Hispanic families in Indiana. Study participants take surveys and talk to our researchers twice a year for two years. IUNI faculty (Brea Perry, Erin Pullen) helped develop the social network component of the survey and IUNI IT staff develop and maintain the tool for field data collection.
